LORO PARK - TENERIFE
Loro Park is home to over seven hundred parrots, the Park has also become home for many other rare and exotic creatures from around the world. The Thai village will take you to a magical kingdom and winding pathways will entice you into an exciting world. It is located in Puerto de la Cruz in the North of Tenerife.
The tropical paradise has many ways to entertain the whole family; there are plenty of shows scheduled during the day in different languages. They include performing Orcas (the newest arrival), Dolphins, Sea Lions and Parrots. All of these animals put on spectacular shows that should not be missed.
The whole area of the park is like walking around a beautiful Thai jungle, there are amazing plants, trees and flowers, and a new treetop attraction (Katandra Treetops) that allows you to walk among many species of birds at the top of their huge aviary.
It also homes the largest colony of penguins outside of the Arctic Circle, watch these birds jump in and out of the freezing water, and chasing fish around. Also to be found at the park is Jaguars, Tigers, Sharks, Alligators, Gorillas, Chimps and many many more.
It is a wonderful day out for the whole family, packed with plenty to do. There are also a great selection of restaurants on site, and plenty of kiosks where you can pick up a quick snack or drink.
