Details of Medieval San Miguel Castle show
The San Miguel is a 6000m2 castle where you are able to enjoy an old traditional knights jousting show, along with their hawks, and also a medieval banquet.
The castle is located in the south of the island, in a small area called San Miguel. You can access it from the motorway exit 25, signposted Las Chafiras. The castle is now host to a medieval jousting show, involving traditional Knights, superbly trained horses, and hawks.
There is a huge drawbridge entrance into the castle where you will first be met by the knights of the castle on horseback. You are given a coloured tabard as you pass through the front entrance, and the Earl of the castle along with his daughter give you a warm welcome.

Throughout the show, the audience are able to interact with the Knights, and it can become quite a competitive show. The 3 course meal is also served by traditional servants of the castle throughout the display. There is also free wine included with the meal, and other drinks are available from the bar.
The whole evening is fun for couples, families and groups. Horse lovers really enjoy the show, and anyone that has a slightly competitive streak will really get involved.
