Light Sailing Tenerife
Light Weight Sailing is a form of sailing using small sail boats that are normally brought back out of the water after you have used them. A lot of people including those in Tenerife do not realise just how good the conditions are for practising this sport here.
This school has a fantastic reputation, their sail boats are kept in immaculate condition and the teaching is very reasonably priced as the school receives a grant from the local Government.
This school is situated in Playa San Juan on the South West coast of Tenerife and it is a great opportunity to learn how to sail with an accredited school.
The beginners can book the RAQUERO sail boat for 3 hours at a time; this sail boat can take up to 6 people, but will take smaller groups for the same price per person. If this is the case, the learner will benefit from a more individual, one on one training. Price: €90
The more experienced sailors, can enjoy using a LASER sail boat, this is designed for one person. When you are aboard the laser, there is always a tender that will accompany you in case of emergencies, and to provide you with further training if needed. The laser is specifically for adults. Price €95
Children are able to take their first steps into the sailing world with special Children specified sail boats, which are also offered at this school. When you book your 3 hour session with Attractions Reporter, you will receive a second 3 hour session absolutely free of charge.
